DAMN, I REGRET IT.
THINGS WE REGRET FROM OUR TEENS
Teenage is evidently the golden period of your life in which you deal with thousands of new things, meet different people, ups and downs, failures and success, love and loss, and what not?
But if you tell me that you didn’t do anything weird in your teenage that you still regret, we both know you’re lying. Everyone in this world, deals with severe ‘Awkward moments’ in their teenage, that they hope no one gets to know about ever.
But let’s face it today, and talk about the awkward moments we experienced back then, that we still regret.
The five things we regret doing in our teenage are :
1- TRUSTING THE WRONG PEOPLE
Trusting the wrong people in our teenage is one of the biggest regret we have in life. Yes, it is also a fact that they are our immature years and we do not know much about people and their two faces, thus, we believe in the one’s who are not trustworthy at all. And eventually we learn the lesson by getting our heart break.
2- MAKING WRONG DECISIONS
A wise man said “ PEOPLE DO NOT REALISE HOW IMPORTANT DECISIONS ARE, UNTIL THEY MAKE WRONG ONES “damn, that’s so true. All of us regret the times when we thought that we’re right and took the steps, that proved out to be wrong in the long term.
3- NOT TAKING LIFE SERIOUSLY
Didn’t take responsibilities seriously, didn’t take studies seriously, didn’t take life seriously! Sigh!
What did we take seriously then? Parties, Sneaking out with friends, preferring friends over parents, wasting money and all that we shouldn’t have taken seriously.
4- NOT SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY
Not spending time with family, specially parents can be the biggest regret. In your teenage, you don’t realize the worth of time that you spend with your parents, and then you regret it when you lose your parents about not giving them enough time that they deserved not making them your preference.
5- NOT VALUING EDUCATION
Bullying nerds, bunking classes, making fun of teachers and spending all the time in cafeteria is all that most of us do in our college days. ‘ Test ? What
test bro? We’ll all fail together’ because good grades are too mainstream, and education keeps no value, we will get the degree anyway. And that makes us lose our interest in studies, that we regret afterwards.
